Graduate work began in the fall of 2010 at Concordia Seminary in Saint Louis, Missouri. Pastor did his field work at the same church and pastor, Holy Cross for the Deaf and Rev. Moody, that his father did. It is also the same church where pastor spent the first few years of his life. Vicarage was in 2013 at Trinity in Howard’s Grove, Wisconsin under the tutelage of Rev. Darrel Berglin. Pastor and Tristin were united in Holy Matrimony on August 13th, 2013 upon his return to Saint Louis.

In October of 2020, Pastor received the call to serve Peace Lutheran as well as Christ Lutheran for the Deaf. He accepted the call and was installed by President Terry Forke on November 29, 2020. Two daughters, Talitha and Sapphira have been added to the family in the years since. Peace and Christ Lutheran for the Deaf have also formed a Tri-point parish with First Lutheran in Fort Benton.
